Published sleep plans
A published sleep plan is the guidance your coach has chosen to share with your family. It may include written sections, bullet points, images and a PDF attachment.
Who this guide is for
- Families receiving a sleep plan from their current coach.
- Coaches checking what a family can currently see.
What you can do
Families can:
- read every sleep plan that their coach has published;
- view guidance in the order chosen by the coach;
- view supporting images; and
- open an attached PDF when one is available.
Coaches can use family view to check the published version. Drafts and archived versions remain in the coach's authoring area.
Read a sleep plan
- Open Sleep plans in the family app.
- Choose a plan from the list.
- Read each section in order.
- Scroll through any paragraphs, bullet lists and images.
The plan uses your coach's practice branding so that it is clear who supplied the guidance.
Open an attached PDF
If a plan includes a PDF:
- Open the plan.
- Use the attachment action shown with the PDF.
- The document opens outside the app in the viewer provided by your phone or browser.
The attachment is private. Access is provided only when you open it, so an old open link may expire. Return to the plan and open the attachment again to get fresh access.
Check the family-visible version as a coach
Open the assigned family in family view, then go to Sleep plans. This shows the published plan exactly as the family sees it. It does not show your current draft or plan history.
For writing and publishing plans, see Writing and managing sleep plans.
Things to know
- Families see only published plans.
- Saving a published plan as a draft removes it from the family list until it is published again.
- Archiving a plan also removes it from the family list.
- Restoring an older plan creates a draft; it does not publish it automatically.
- If the coach relationship is no longer current, plans from that relationship may no longer be available.
If something goes wrong
- If the plan list does not load, use retry or refresh.
- If an image is unavailable, the rest of the plan will remain readable. Try refreshing the page.
- If a PDF does not open, try the attachment again. Also check that your browser or phone allows external documents to open.
- If there are no plans, your coach may not have published one yet.
